We are a cast projectile business based in Gladstone, Queensland, Australia.
We produce our projectiles using the latest technology for casting and coating, ensuring consistent quality to all of our products. Our range is constantly expanding and can be utilised by all sport shooting disciplines.
We also offer specialised sizings. If you’re looking for a projectile that is not yet in our range, or are looking for a modification to our current range, we will try to accommodate you.
Our range now includes:
If you are looking for a variation of the above, let us know, if it’s possible, we are happy to accommodate.
Our projectiles start with a Lead Alloy, known as ‘hard ball’. It is a 92:6:2 alloy specifically made for casting projectiles.
From there, we cast the bare lead projectiles using the latest in casting technology to ensure consistency.
After sizing, a Hi-Tek Supercoat is applied before the projectile is added to our stock.
Yesterday really proved what your bullets can do. While others were standing and sitting in a 100 metre match, I lay down prone and shot my scoped No4 Savage .303 Sporter over a sandbag. Shot a 39.7 out of 40.8 in a slow fire application stage to start. It took me quite a bit of winding up from my hunting load’s zero, hence the dropped point in my first counting shot.
All 7 of the central (V) bullseyes we’re dancing around the one- inch pinhole. Then we shot an 8- round rapid in 40 seconds on a blank big figure target and my spotter- witness told me every shot could be covered with a 50 cent piece.
Then we had a 7 round snap shoot on a figure 14 (the hun’s head). Five went into 50 cents with three going an inch higher, but with only 4 seconds to settle and shoot each shot on a hand held target, that is excusable. The key to loading the Boynes is to anneal the case necks and soft seat after only minimally neck sizing and using a Lee factory crimp die to finish off.
This shoot was witnessed by Paul Wilkes, an experienced rifleman and hunter.
Velocity was around 1230fps - no gas check - Remington cases, 11grains of TrailBoss powder, PMC LR primer.
